A lover of people, dogs, sharks, mountains, and most importantly, determined to live as an assistant to the Great Physician.
As a child her family lived outside of Boone, North Carolina before moving back to Texas. It was there that she discovered a deep desire for all things alternative medicine, but didn't know what to do with it. For years she worked and waited for clarity. Once she felt a clear calling to attend Chiropractic school, her and her husband sold their house and left for Dallas. When first enrolling in graduate school at Parker University, Dr. B knew very little about Chiropractic and all of its' power- she just knew she was supposed to do it, and has been humbled by the opportunity. Since then she has taken several certification courses to be trained in various techniques to better serve the people. Her favorite, Torque Release Technique, is the one she predominately uses.
Getting back to North Carolina has been nothing short of a dream, and she is thrilled to be able to serve the people of Boone, NC. and surrounding areas. She is proud to be a part of the Christ Centered Chiropractic movement, an initiative to bring like-minded Chiropractors from all around the world together in fellowship, with the purpose of sharing and educating on the gift of Chiropractic in a manner that puts God at the center.
Dr. B is coming forth with her desire to teach individuals how to thrive during this earthly life, teaching specifically on the ability your body has to heal, and guiding patients in that process.
She is determined to be a lifelong learner of all things Chiropractic, natural, and wonderful.
"To offer strategies that empower every individual to live according to their God-given right to "have and enjoy life" by providing powerful Chiropractic adjustments, lifestyle education, and nutritional counseling."
You are full of potential!
Your body has an innate intelligence to self heal when given the right materials to do so.
Your spine, a major part of your nervous system, experiences distress that blocks appropriate communication within your brain, and from your brain to the rest of your bodily systems. . Chiropractic philosophy says this stress can be caused by physical traumas, toxic thoughts, or environmental toxins (which is anything that you eat, drink, inhale, or absorb). This creates chaos which can manifest itself as pain or other types of symptoms. Thankfully, your body is very intelligent and is a self healing, self regulating system. Chiropractic adjustments helps to remove neurological interference, allowing your body to do what it was designed to do, heal itself.
Many of us are familiar with the scripture "the spirit is willing, but the body is weak." Instinctively we know we were created for more than to wait for it to be our turn to develop the diseases and conditions that "run in our families." Thankfully, we are not solely victims of our genes. There is great hope to regain power over your health by restoring the spirit to do so.
We understand that our brain (mind) is connected to the rest of our body in a beautiful woven manner. Our thoughts are real things that hold great energy and power. This gives them great influence on the actual workings of our brain and consequently the rest of our body. Restoring your thought patterns to that which is beneficial to the workings of your mind, harnesses a power that has the ability to restore your whole life.
The dove and olive branch
"If Dove symbolism comes fluttering into your day to day life, she may be reminding you that to soar, you must know when to move your wings and when to allow the wind to take you to new heights."
A history, from SpiritualRay.com "Doves are referred to the symbol that define the presence of God. The Biblical story of Noah's Ark truly defines the symbolism of white doves with peace. As per the story, after the Great Flood, Noah sent out white dove to see if there was any land. The dove returned with olive twig its beak, which meant that it had found dry land somewhere. This brought relief to Noah, who had spent almost a year on the ark. Since then, white dove with an olive twig in its beak, is considered symbol of peace."
The white dove has been a historical symbol of love, peace, freedom, and innocence since Biblical times. Some passages refer to the Holy Spirit as a dove. The olive branch, symbolizing safety and protection, is a reminder of the Lord taking care of His people.
Water is the very essence of life. Not only is it absolutely required for proper function of the body, but it is also incredibly healing. It gives us a physical representation of our spirits: soft yet powerful.
